I ordered this as a replacement for another projecting tree topper but this one is really cool. The center star turns and projects colored lights on the wall & ceiling. I really enjoy sitting with all the lights off and only having the tree lights on and this topper adds a little extra to the room.

Very bright and shines on ceiling. I do not like the glitter that gets all over. They should spray it with a clear coat to prevent it from shedding glitter everywhere.

Our previous star suddenly was broken this year and I needed one-quick! I kept seeing these projecting stars everywhere but didn’t want picture projections. This was cute, it projects colors and has a spinning ability. It’s everything we wanted. Easy to hook up, literally just plug it in. It reached no problem but our tree is average size. There was zero noise which I love. It doesn’t weigh down the top of the tree either as it moves-our previous one ‘tipped’ the top tree as it turned and it made me a little crazy. The colors are so cool and it projects really bright and far across our ceiling (they are not tall ceilings so it’s easy). We’re very very happy with this purchase and hope it makes it through storage for a few years. The price was fabulous-hard to beat.
