This is a nice lightweight carpet rake that seems to get up quite a lot of hair. It has two sides, one for lower-pile carpet and one for higher-pile carpet or upholstery. It seems to work fairly well on both the carpet and the rugs we have, although the one is extremely difficult to get hair up from, so it requires a bit more work. There is some flex to the handle, but that's the tradeoff for being lightweight I guess.

This carpet rake is a life saver! My boyfriend is slightly allergic to cats, which usually isn't too big of a problem, but in the spring time when all his other allergies are also acting up, he really suffers after sleeping over at my place. This rake has helped so much in removing cat hair from the carpeting in my room and reducing the amount of cat hair and dander that he inhales.It is also so easy to use! I have had other carpet rakes in the past, but it was always such a hassle to have to get down on my hands and knees to scrape the carpet, and left even my young back sore! With this, I can do my whole room while still standing, which has saved me so much time and pain! I would say this carpet rake is absolutely worth it

I can’t believe I’ve gone my whole life without this. While it’s marketed for pet hair, it’s been an absolute game-changer for me. I shed a lot, and recently, hair loss due to medication has made keeping my carpets clean even more challenging. I used to be on my hands and knees with a hand scrub brush just to keep my vacuum from clogging, but this rake has saved me SO much effort and time.The adjustable length is fantastic, it can get SUPER long, making the process way more comfortable and easy to use. Pretty lightweight as well. The “razor” side is sharp and really grabs onto embedded hair. Feels like I’m shaving my carpet! If it works this well on MY hair, it’ll absolutely work for pet hair too. My floors have never been cleaner. 10/10 recommend!

The carpet rake for pet fur, was easy to put together, even though no instructions were included in the box. You can choose several different ways to put the rake together, depending on your personal height and your needs. The carpet rake is well-made and I think it would last a long time. However, that's where my positives on this item stop. I tried the carpet rake in several different areas where my cats and my dog like to play and lay around, thinking the carpet rake should be able to clean up quite a bit of fur. Videos I have seen, make it seem like the carpet rake will pick up a lot of pet fur. Those videos are mis-leading. Number one, it takes a lot of effort in "raking" the carpet. Number two, for the time and effort I spent "raking," I didn't get a lot of fur, like the videos show. I don't want to expend that type of energy without having something to show for it. Number three, they talk about how vacuuming doesn't get up as much fur as the carpet rake, but the only way this carpet rake will get anywhere near the amount of pet fur that it says it will "rake" up, is if you do not vacuum but once a month! I vacuum at least once a week, not just for fur, but other things, and I wouldn't be able to stand not vacuuming for that long, just so I could use the carpet rake. Lastly, the amount of effort a vacuum takes, if far less than the carpet rake. I hate to say it, but save your money.

I wasn't sure if this rake would work because I have high piled carpet, but it is so flat from years of use even with vacuuming. This carpet rake immediately fluffed up my carpet and revealed how poorly my vacuuming has been. I am embarrassed to say but just brushing the carpet with 15 strokes pulled up a hand full of pet hair. Fluffing up my carpet a bit has also allowed my vacuum to get better access into the fibers, and my carpets look refreshed.I am overly motivated to use this tool every week and on other surfaces such as my bathmats and couch cushions. The rake itself was easy to assemble and is sturdy and durable. It is going to be a regular staple for my household cleaning.

I got this to help deal with all the cat fur in my apartment, and it did the job. The silicone side is awesome. I pulled up enough fur to make a whole new cat. You do have to hold it at the right angle to get the best results, but once you figure that out, it does a great job sweeping up hair and dust.The copper edge didn’t do much on my carpet—but that’s not really its fault. I checked the product images and saw it’s specifically designed for very low pile carpet, and mine’s just a bit too tall for it to be effective. That said, it’s well-made and feels high quality, and I can see it being really useful on the right type of flooring. Just not a match for what I have right now.The handle is solid—sturdy with a great grip and four adjustable heights. It’s also surprisingly lightweight, making cleaning easier. I couldn’t stop myself from sweeping because it was so satisfying to remove all that hidden hair.
