I earlier brought another wall plate for my honey well thermostat - that was of worse quality - bluis white painted/colored one with !! I returned it without even trying it, and ordered this. This came to be a great product and extremely satisfied with this one!

When I replaced our thermostat with a Honeywell RTH2300B thermostat I had 4 screw holes showing in the wall around the thermostat. This fit perfectly behind the thermostat with holes that matched up so I just put the screws through the thermostat, this plate and then into the wall.
