This cleaner is a budget option but a beast! I have owned and tested a ton of pool cleaners in all price ranges and this performed extremely well for a budget cleaner. I would go as far as saying it outperformed a couple of way more expensive pressure side cleaners that I have owned previously. Unlike those because this is a suction side cleaner there is no debris bag that is attached so cleanup is very easy. All you do is empty your pool pump skimmer basket once you're through. All the debris goes through the vacuum and hose so you don't really need to clean the inside of the vacuum unless something gets clogged I suppose. Nothing did while I was testing it though. It cleaned the floors and walls climbing them with ease. The only negatives I saw were that you do have to dial it in at first when you set it up so it doesn't climb so much that air gets in the vacuum or you will lose prime on your pump. Once you are dialed in correctly that shouldn't really need to be readjusted very often so not really a problem just a set up procedure you need to pay attention to for optimal performance. The other issue I see is that because it operates on the suction side your skimmer is being utilized by the vacuum and therefore won't be skimming the water surface while the vacuum is in use. That really wasn't an issue for me this time of year but I suppose it could be if you have a lot of leaves constantly falling in your pool while your trying to vacuum it. All things considered if I were considering a budget option cleaner this would be at the top of my list for sure!
