Product works ok but requires a "Check out " from time to time. It gets stuck on ladders and sometimes it twists and sticks on the hose. However overall it cleans the pool and gives you time to do other things. It's just slow and unpredictable.

I've been doing pool matinence for 17 years and this is the biggest POS that I've used. My fault for cheaping out. It doesn't spin and gets stuck at both sets of the stairs and the main drain. Took it in for repair as suggested by Hayward for them to tell me that there is nothing wrong with it other than it is garbage. Save your money and spend on a real auto vacuum. This is not worth the plastic it's made from.

This thing does literally nothing. My neighbor has an older model Kreepy Krauly, which is FAR superior to this piece of junk. It gets stuck every 2 minutes. After being in my pool for about 4 hours, it had literally vacuumed 2 strips of pool bottom. Utter garbage. I even called the company to make sure I was using it correctly. I dialed the extension for technical support. The guy didn't even seem to understand my issue, and had to put me on hold to find someone who could tell him the answers to my questions. Save yourself a world of headaches, and just buy a $20 manual vacuum head. I can vacuum the pool myself in 1/50th the time it takes to get this stupid thing hooked up and running. And then it runs properly for maybe 20 minutes before it starts getting stuck everywhere.

I was researching a bit and ran across a pool builder site that uses these in his new pools. I got it and I think it works better than the barracuda (G3) I replaced for my vinyl pool. It moves around well and doesn't get stuck in the corners where the Barracuda did. But to be fair, the Barracudas' performance degraded over the 5 years that I used it regardless of the fact that I replaced all of the rubber parts. Pretty dang happy right now but time will tell.

Works great. Cleans very well. Very happy. Just sometime will flip over while climbing the wall of the pool. Overall, great.Be nice if the seller sold the leaf basket as well to go along.

I usually buy the Barracuda, but the Haywood looked comparable at a better price. It keeps stopping. I have moved the weight everywhere, but it still will stop. Sometimes it will keep running and then take forever to work it's way free from the build in stairs.I thought having the name Hayward would have been certain I would be happy. I had bought a cheap Momba that works like this one. If I can't get it to keep working correctly, I will toss it.

This is my third cleaner and by far the worst one. It gets stuck at the stairs and in some corners. Like the other reviewer I am constantly moving it to do the bottom. It also flips over from time to time.I wrote to tech support at Hayward who answered with questions that indicated that he hadn't really read my email. I answered promptly and never heard back from him. I think they know they have designed a temperamental lemon but they needed a product with a lower price point than their other pricy cleaners.I would suggest you look at a different cleaner unless you have a lot of time to babysit it.
