I saw all of the extremely positive reviews for this product and was hesitant, but I took the plunge anyway. I planted some new grass seed and wanted to set up some sprinklers for it. I was pleasantly surprised at not only how easy this was to setup, but how well it works. Time will tell how long the 2 AA batteries last. The valve box attached easily and doesn’t leak at all. I’ll post an update in the future but so far I am hopeful.

**Background:** We have a small garden, and the water spigot is on the other side of the house. We are also very busy and often forget to water or are traveling. We have tried timers, but they frequently overwater or underwater depending on the changing conditions. A smart Wi-Fi system seems like a much better solution.**Build Quality:** There are two components: the water control unit and the wifi gateway. The water control unit appears quite robust. It has a solid weight to it and operates on two AA batteries. The gateway seems a bit cheaper in construction.**Function:** This system operates through a phone app. There are two options: Tuya and Smart Life. They are very similar, but I have Tuya set up and running for other smart devices, so I used that. First, you set up the gateway, which was super easy. I have set up other smart devices with Tuya, and it’s not always easy. Then, the actual sprinkler controller was detected by the gateway, and I was ready to go.The app is decent; not all the smart devices on Tuya are this easy. I was able to program each side separately; there are two types: watering and spraying. Watering is always on for the interval you choose, whereas spray cycles on and off.Several other smart features include rain delay and real-time weather reports. You are also given a record page so you can see all the watering in the past.I added to Alexa with one click, and I can turn the water on and off with Alexa's voice commands.The only issue is the flow rate; this device significantly restricts it. I use drip irrigation for most of my watering, so that isn’t a big issue for me. But if you use this for a lawn and want maximum pressure, this may be the device for you.

Works great from anywhere. I can turn the water on and off from across the country. The interval timer makes it easy to water even 1-5seconds. Doesn't leak. Easy to use.

Great for my needs after sod placement. Can set up a schedule and it is flawless. Really like the ease of install and current schedule. Need to get a second hose on it for front lawn

As I have just started using the timers it's hard to give a review, I can say that setup and using the app to program them was easy.They work as intended.The app is simple to understand and connecting to wifi was also very easy.I like that you don't have to mess with the device as everything is done with the app.If it rains that day they skip that session.I've had several types of timer's for my home and these are simple and work perfectly.
