This item isn't intended for United States installation. If you have to get an inspection you may have a problem. The threaded hubs are not compatible with electrical NPT (National Pipe Thread) fittings or pipe. I figure they are metric and have a finer thread You can drill out the threads and use a Myers hub to achieve a raintight connection.

I used this for a remote standby generator transfer switch connection. Excellent Quality, extremely impressed with the design and installation options available. My installation was in the wall and flush mounted with the wall. Attached to stud with external LB into the back. Would recommend this product to anyone. Since I installed inside can't say how it would hold up in an outside installation although from the build quality and thought that went into the product, I'd suspect it would give years of service. Price was reasonable to others.
