Cord is made well and heavy duty. Inlet box is pretty sturdy. Wish the inlet was made of metal that's the only reason for 4 stars, personal preference. Would suggest if you have need for it.

I like this box,working great for my generator.The cord is very heavy duty,a good value.The only thing is that the box itself is really UGLY!!! Lol I am certainly happy I purchased it on a Amazon “ Lightning Deal”

Had an interlock installed on my house and decided to go 50 amp. This fit the bill perfectly. I will say I underestimated the size of the box and just how bright the orange was so I took it upon myself to paint the main body black while retaining the orange lid. It blends in well with the house while still indicating that it’s an electrical plug. The cord is a perfect length for my application and isn’t very hard to lug around even though it’s 50 amp. Used this during hurricane Beryl and it held up great as opposed to my fence and gate.
