How to Make Drying Flowers
Step 1
Put a layer of desiccant in an airtight container, select fresh blooming flowers, and leave 3-5CM of flower branches in the airtight container
Step 2
Insert the flowers Take care not to distort the flowers, gently pour the desiccant on all sides
Step 3
Gently pour silica gel, using a cup, while keeping the shape of flowers intact. Continue pouring until all flowers are completely covered.
Step 4
Seal the container and wait for 2-7 days. Drying times will vary depending on the type of flower and the season.

This is a must have product for drying flowers. It's a great at drying out flowers for long term storage. This product is easy to use.

Package includes a 2.2lb bag of silica gel crystals, lightweight details brush, plastic bin, and a user guide.I’m newer when it comes to using silica gel crystals to dry flowers, and it’s actually not too difficult! I like to put a base layer of gel crystals in the bin, then place flowers face down before burying them with the rest of the gel crystals. The lightweight details brush is used to flick away stray crystals that stick to your flowers (I like to excavate them like dinosaur bones).Overall 5 stars: I highly recommend this set for someone new to the flower drying scene, it’s an excellent starter kit!

The 2.2lbs of silica gel can be used for flowers or other things. They work well to create DIY desiccant bags to keep moisture out of areas.

Low smell and doesn’t produce much dust. Biggest drawback is that the bag with the silica, once open, is almost impossible to flatten enough to store the silica inside the plastic container—at least if I want to close the container lid.

Works perfect for our needs.I placed the whole bag into a fair sized stainless steel pan that has a silicone sealed lid. We use it to dry down electronics mostly and when it gets too "damp", we simply slide the whole pan into one of our treatment ovens and dry it down at 250 degrees. Actually, we turn off an oven before closing time and when the oven has cooled down some we add the pan and let it sit overnight, less the lid of course, and in the morning we seal it back up. Ready to go again.Highly Recommended.

review for: 1000g(2.2LBS) Silica Gel Flower Drying Crystals, Silicate Desiccant for Drying Flowers, Reusable Flower Preservative, Color Display Fine Crystals Desiccant (S-2.2lb)1000g(2.2LBS)I ordered this desiccant so i can create art with natural items such as leaves and other plants and such, but i failed to actually find anything to dry nor find a place to process said articles as the cons to this stuff is that it is lightweight and fine particles which are not good to have around any unintentionally uncoordinated or rushed people because dropping the box or knocking the box off the table would be horrific to clean up. The fact that the stuff is non-toxic is the only reason i thought i might be able to survive an accident.The "specs" have all the right things: reusable, moisture indicators, and lightweight particles so as to not damage the items.

The Gel worked well once i found another bowl, the bowl came cracked with a huge hole in the bottom so i had to find another bowl. but i did use the gel to dry out some funeral flowers
