I needed to hang some flags on my wooden fence and these came in handy. They are stainless steel and shouldn't rust. They work well for my needs. I also used the round eye hooks to hang some plants on my pergola. It has held up well for the last few months.

This pack of eye screws contains 10 each of open and closed "eyes".For hanging up something like a birdhouse or a plant, the open hooks work best for me. For stringing Edison-bulb light-strings I went with the closed ones so the wind wouldn't blow them off. That meant I had to take the bulbs out to get the wire through the eyes, but the end result is secure. The screws on these hooks are "self-tapping", but they are NOT self-drilling, so I recommend drilling a pilot hole. The package includes plastic wall/ceiling anchors. Those are nice to have, but I imagine using them to connect a hook to a hollow ceiling would significantly reduce the "200 pound" holding capacity. The material is "304 stainless steel", which gives the hooks good corrosion-resistance in normal outdoor conditions. If I lived at the beach, I'd probably look for the more expensive 316 stainless instead.
