The T-nut is a special fastener for the European standard profile (T-slot). Place the nut head into the groove in the direction of the profile groove and rotate it 90 degrees clockwise. It can automatically position and lock during the installation process.
4040 Series aluminum profile T-Nuts widely used to build CNC routers, 3D printers, CNC laser cutters, CNC plasma cutters, robotics projects, 3D carvers, machine guards, workstations, etc.
It is often used with the hexagon socket bolt to assemble the corner piece.

These do not drop into the 4040 rails on my CNC. They do fit into the work table, but that is not what they were purchased for.
