There are a lot of great things about this set, but my favorite are the gloves. Well, not the entire glove per se, but specifically the claws on the tips of the right hand. I love them! They are great for loosening up top soil, dispersing granular fertilizer, scooping up unwanted pests in the soil, and so much more! The rest of the gloves aren't anything special and I would have liked them to be more water resistant, but if they end up not lasting very long I'll just cut the claws off and glue them to another pair so not liking the entire glove wasn't a huge negative for me.The rest of the tools have a nice weight to them and feel sturdy enough that I am not worried about them bending while in use. The weeder tool helps to get weeds out by giving you leverage with the bend underneath it. That way you have some resistance when trying to pull down to push the weed up without having to push the tool as far down into the ground.The pruners are ok, but they don't cut thicker branches as well as others I have that are the same size. They have their uses, but compared to the rest of the tools they aren't at the same level in my opinion.The bag is a nice storage method, but it needs to have something inside to keep it upright. As it is now, it barely can stay upright without leaning it against something or holding it the whole time so that is a tad inconvenient. It would've been nice if they included a firm piece for the bottom that would provide more support and give shape. Like the foldable cloth storage bins where you have to put in the firm bottom piece to keep the sides from collapsing in on itself.Despite there being a few minor flaws, I think the positives far out weigh any negatives and I would absolutely recommend getting this set if you are new to gardening and need some good, inexpensive tools that should last you awhile!!

This little set has some strengths that outweigh its weaknesses, making it a good starter set, or a good temporary replenishment for tools you accidentally left in the yard and are now buried somewhere under last year's thatch (haha...oops!). The tools are great quality and feel sturdier than some name brand equivalents I own - especially the weeding and claw tools. They're made of thick metal with a core that feels like it extends far into the handle, so I feel confident they wouldn't break from sheer force. The thick, quality metal also suggests they will withstand a sharpening. I absolutely love the straight/dandelion weeder tool (sorry, I don't know the names of things) - it's the best of its kind I've ever used. The drawbacks: I don't love the bag - it's floppy, the bottom lacks structure. All but one of the sharp tools (the bent-claw thingy) fit handle-side up into the pockets with some effort, so they sometimes interfere with the use of the handle and create a hazard. Plus, the effort means you can't be all that efficient cause you're having to jam tools into them. There's no safe way to store the bent-claw thingy, I'm just hoping it dulls enough with use that I don't hurt myself on it digging around for it one day. Otherwise, the bag is roomy and made of durable canvas so it's definitely going to last.The glove situation is weird. One is a normal garden glove, the other is a normal garden glove with claws. I've used claw gloves before and I don't like them. This leaves me with one useable glove. The claws might be removeable to produce two normal gloves, but I shouldn't have to do that - the set should just come with one set of standard gloves. Overall, it's a cute set and I would recommend it for the tools alone.

This gardening set is everything you need for a small garden. It convientienly comes in a canvas heavy duty bag. I am able to hang the bag in my garage. It has all the important tools you need for a garden bed and for the lawn. My favorite tool is the weed puller. It works SO good. It easily pulls out the weeds at the root and makes a very small hole. You don't need a lot of strength to pull the weeds using it. I have a bad shoulder and even I am able to pull weeds out with this without feeling pain in my shoulder. The tools are of nice quality and the handles are wooden. I like that they all match. I carry them out with me to the garden bed and don't have to walk back and forth to my garage looking for a different tool. I have them all with me in my bag. I also put additional things I need such as seeds in the outside pockets of the bag. The pruner tool is great for small jobs such as pruning my roses. I have a good grip holding them because they have a rubber piece on the handle. There are two shovels. Both shovels have measurements on them. The measurements are perfect for when you are planting vegetables and need to know how deep your seeds need to go. The sprayer is small but fits perfectly into the bag for the mixture that I make to spray my vegetables and roses to prevent insects. The gloves fit like a size Large in gloves. The top is breathable so your hands don't get as sweaty. I recommend this gardening set. It is a must.

I am a beginner gardener that just started growing a few vegetable plants and young fruit trees. This gardening kit has all the essentials to get started. The two shovel sizes are great; I have used them for repotting seedlings, starting seeds, and adding fertilizer. The rake things are nice for mixing soil or aerating. The clippers work well for pruning my baby trees and have a safety latch. The kit also comes with a pair of gloves that are water resistant, easy to rinse soil off of, and have plastic claw tips on the right hand. There are also some plant labels included. The bag itself is okay. The material is good and it holds all the tools well, but I absolutely hate the handles. They are such a weird shape and feel abnormal to hold. For the price though, it's a great set to get started with and has all the basic tools you'd need.
