This plant tying tool is quite a neat gadget! It may look lightweight, and some might prefer a green or brown tape instead, but its functionality is impressive. The tool comes pre-loaded with a partial roll of tape and staples, and the box includes numerous (20) tape rolls and a full box of staples – probably more than needed for at least three years.Ease of UseThis tool is user-friendly and straightforward to load. It works perfectly to attach small branches to stakes or to tie tomato vines to cages. With just one or two practice attempts, you'll get the hang of it: squeeze once to load the tape, push the objects to be connected against the tape, squeeze a second time to staple, and release.Versatile Applications• Flowers and Vegetables: The plant tying tool is excellent for supporting flowers and vegetables to stakes. It's quick and efficient, making gardening tasks much easier.• Bonsai: For bonsai enthusiasts, this tool is particularly useful in some situations. Instead of using wire in, which can dig into the wood or be forgotten long enough for the wood to grow around it, the tape gently connects branches to other branches or stakes, facilitating initial training and shaping.ConsiderationsOne point of consideration is that the tape is very thin, which may result in some tape waste between tie points. However, the benefits of its uses far outweigh this minor drawback. We don’t yet know the tool's longevity, but if it lasts, there could be even more applications discovered.Overall, this plant tying tool stands out as a fun yet immensely useful addition to any gardener's toolkit, with multiple uses across flowers, vegetables, and bonsai care. It may be a little over priced.

I didn't know tools like this existed until I saw it on here and decided to give it a try. I plant several tomato and cucumber plants in the garden every year and I have always either used twist ties, twine, or those plastic circular clips to attach the branches and vines to the cages or trellis. It's time consuming and tedious. This tape gun just made those other methods obsolete in my book. It's so much faster and easier now! The tape is strong and adheres well. So far the gun has functioned very well.I highly recommend this if you grow things in your garden that require cages or trellises.

This is an excellent plant tying machine! I like the fact that it comes with the tape already pre-loaded. It is simply a matter of removing the zip tie that is holding it in position, and then flex the jaws once firmly, but not too hard, and the device will engage the tape. It is actually just that easy to operate. I find utilizing the device extremely satisfying! If you have a vegetable garden, particularly vining and climbing things like tomatoes, cucumbers, beans and other such, you will be delighted with the speed and ease of use in tying up various plants to their respective supports. This can often result in an increase in productivity of those plants, opening more of the plant to light and air circulation than would otherwise be the case, often creating a healthier plant due to the increased sun exposure and air circulation. The device seems well made and I believe that with proper care, it should provide many years of service. The plant tyer comes preloaded with one roll of tape that is at the ready. It also has 10 rolls of red tape and 10 rolls of navy blue tape, for a total of 20 rolls. Additionally, there is a full package of staples, which are also needed to properly utilize the device. The device is also preloaded with those as well.In summary, I would most certainly give my full recommendation for this plant tying device. Whether you are a houseplant enthusiast, or a gardener, or even a homeowner who is striving to work with landscaping plants that can frequently use some additional support, like clematis, this plant tyer is a time saver. Also, it is actually just a very satisfying device to incorporate within your plants. If you get this device, you will most definitely not regret it! My strongest of recommendations!Added 5-01-25: I have been using this product enough that I can again bear witness to the fact that this plant tyer definitely makes it so much easier to work in effortlessly supporting plants that wish to climb and need support. Anything that simplifies that task and makes the entire process both faster and easier is my kind of product! Highly recommended!
