I bought this for some closet LED lighting, it failed after 1 month of using. It will no longer output any voltage.I suggest looking for a name brand like meanwell

We hired a professional electrician to install our landscape lighting who used this power supply in conjunction with the set up. He was pleased with the quality and capabilities of this device. It has been over a year since the install and everything has worked well with no issues.

This will power a whole lot of LED lights with ease! I decided to try it for a whole other purpose.. connected to a step-down voltage regulator (12v) and connected a high-end car amplifier to use for 2ch stereo listening in my den. It works just perfect! I pushed the volume and was drawing over 200watts and this device barely got warm. Very nice design, no doubt built to last many years of use. I love that it's outdoor rated as well.. as I'm moving soon to the tropics where it's high humidity. Probably I'll eventually use this for the LED strip lights, as accents to the kitchen.

This is a well-made waterproof power supply. I like the fact that this one has a couple of 12 lines out for multiple strings of lights. I haven't pushed it near it's power limits but at around 120 watts it barely gets warm. The only improvement I'd make is to supply it with a longer lines for both AC and DC output. It wouldn't take a lot to extend the length to 2 or three feed and can lead to a much cleaner looking install.

I originally ordered this LED Lights World 24V power supply to supply power to a battery hand tool that runs on 24 volts. I had plans to use this tool in a stationary rather than portable configuration, so the AC power would fit in better with that kind of usage, so I wouldn't have to worry about changing batteries in the middle of a task. But since then I've had a change of plans (I ended up buying a similar tool that was already AC powered. So now I have this 300W 24V power supply with no immediate plans for an application.It is a really well-made piece of electrical equipment, though; with a high-quality extruded aluminum outer case with ribbing on the sides to help with heat dissipation. I've been an electronics geek for years, and this piece impressed me! It's also heavier than I would expect for it's size, and from my experience heavier is better where power supplies are concerned. It's made for outdoor use so the case is IP67 rated for water and dust resistance. There are grommeted cables on both ends of the case: one for AC in and two on the other side, which each provide 24V DC. All three cables are unterminated - with just tinned bare leads ready to be connected.But what to use it for? I could think of two things so far: I can use it to power just the heated build plate on my 3D printer, to put less stress on its built-in power supply. I already have a MosFET that I bought a while ago just for this purpose. That will probably be the right task for this power supply, but if not I will hold onto it and use it for its main intended purpose when the need arises: to power a couple of hundred watts worth of 24V LED light strips.

In my testing I was able to get 10 A out of this supply, reliably. To stress it a bit, I let it supply 10 A (240 W, though rated 200 W) for 30 minutes. At the end of that period, the supply was just slightly warm to the touch (wow!). That's not absolute proof, but chances are that means this is a conservative, high quality design based on this very graceful behavior.I took it up to 12 A at one point, and thought I broke it; the output voltage was gone even after I removed the AC input and then restored it. This should not happen, as it is stated that this supply has over-current protection. However, eventually the output did return, but it took quite a while (minutes, not seconds). So, don't use it for more than its rated output, but that should go without saying! And if the supply seems to be dead, wait 10 minutes and try it again.The supply is built to be rugged I think. The construction is solid.Note that the two sets of output wires are simply connected together inside; there are not actually two separate outputs (confirmed with an ohmmeter).

This is a great DC supply, well-built and heavy. Only complaint is that the AC supply cable and DC output cable are RIDICULOUSLY short. The product photo does not lie. They really should make the cables 24" long. My only complaint...but worth noting.
