While I was trying to clear the fountain pump I received a shock. Very disappointed that this only worked a couple of months. Also cannot find any warranty information.

I've been using this to keep the kiddie pool for my pair of ducks from freezing. The lowest temperature I've seen since putting the heater in have been 24° F and this kept a small plastic pool from freezing all day. Hopefully this holds up over time because it's been great to have this winter!

I have several of these around my mini-farm, but really liked this one because it’s coated with some sort of material and is also very heavy. I have several curious animals that like to fiddle with everything and the weight of this helps keep it in the water! It was 17 degrees here last night and there was no problem with freezing using this – such a blessing in the winter.
