Bought this to use an our 125 gallon duck pond. Even with temperatures going down in the single digits at night and standing below freezing during the day this small device keeps the entire pond ice free so that our ducks can enjoy it 24/7

We have this water heater on our horse troughs. Placed it out a couple of days ago as a precaution, and the water has not frozen. The nice thing about it it doesn’t heat up the water. We also have goldfish in the trough and they’re still living at the temperature that the trough is maintaining.

I didn't think this little heater would be enough to keep the water from freezing? Surprised me it's a solid heater & the horses water doesn't freeze even in -30's C money well spent on this product.

Very impressed!! We are experiencing multiple days and nights of below freezing temperatures. Water sitting on the ground is frozen at all times. The first day I plugged this warmer in, it took a bit to heat up the water. There was a few snow flurries over night which caused a thing layer of ice over the top but it was thawed around the cord of the heater. We removed the layer of ice and the heater was able to warm up the water. It has been keeping it completely thawed which is amazing with our single digit temperatures at night! I would highly recommend this heater. I'd give it 10 stars because it has saved us so much work!

I admit I was skeptical when I saw the size of the heater. But it works wonderfully. Kept my 110 gallon tank ice free for my cows. Not even any ice on the edges of the tanks when the weather was double digit below for several days. Chew cover is long enough even with my extra large and extra deep tank. Cord seems to be standard length. Temperature maintained at a comfortable level. Hoping it will last me a long, long time.

It's used in the horse water tub to keep water from freezing over with temperatures lower than freezing. So far has been working great.

This is a good water heater. It works well. I wouldn’t say it’s quite strong enough to keep 300 gallons completely thawed. We typically use 1500w heaters to keep the big troughs thawed and depending on the temperatures and the wind, those don’t even work. But for the smaller livestock troughs, these heaters are great. I have several of these type of heaters now. I like that they are smaller in size. Size doesn’t really matter for my horses or cows but it just is less noticeable in the buckets so less tempting for animals to play with. The heater has a nice long cord to make it easy to plug into outlets even if they aren’t directly next to the water trough. So far I’m happy with my purchase. I’ve only used this one for season so far so I can’t speak for the longevity but for what it is, it does the job great this season.

Did not work in 30 degree weather in our 100 gallon tub. Frozen solid.
