This thing is as useful as tat tats on a bull. It fits on well but that's it. Spring action doesn't work and is overall not worth the plastic bag it came in. DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM

Bought this to put on a Stihl string trimmer that I found on a trash pile. Once installed, it works like new! Great product, great purchase.

I've got a lot of yard to maintain so when the Stihl "broke" , I needed parts right-away. The local Stihl dealer had the part for twice the money...this replacement head showed up in 24 hrs. for half the price...it went on in less than 60 seconds ! Back in business !!

Nothing worse than having a trimmer head fail. This unit replaces the worn out one in less than 2 minutes. Price is right. Two heads are better than one….right?

I should have purchased a new one long ago. Had dealer replace spool that was worn out and paid what I paid for the this whole head. The bumping wasn't working as it did when I got it. Also the dealer should have told me (where I purchased) that the head could be worn out too.After placing this the bump for more line works great and I'm back to having it work great. check you tube on how add string faster. That was a pleasant surprise plus I'm adding twice as much string too and now having less reloads. With 7 acres I needed this tip long ago.
