Great set. Well made. Easy to thread. No pocking shards of metal. I prefer stainless steel as I can use them for outdoor projects, withstanding the 4 seasons of New England.

This kit is not for doing a project, this is for the person that lost the nut under the table saw, or is short 1 bolt due to a shipping error, or just didn't buy enough. There are not a lot of any one size bolt, but there are a lot of sizes. I am always having to run to the hardware store for 1 bolt or nut. I love these kits that give you a bunch of choices.

Quality bolts with nuts included. Stainless also lets me use them outside. The assortment is also nice unlike some of the others that are way too small. This has a good medium size assortment.

I was hoping for a decent set of fasteners that would get me through a project without having to run to the store but these are way above what I expected. The quality is A+ and it's a nice quantity of fasteners in a range of sizes. I don't often need stainless steel but these are so nice, I'll be looking for excuses to build something!

I wrote a review but saw this was still sitting here with only the overall rating showing.Anyway, if you're the type of guy that is constantly doing projects that require all types of hardware and hate having to run to the store every time, these are for you. In my case bit's at least a 30 mile round trip to get to a hardware store and at least an hour wasted chasing down stuff. I have a pretty good collection of nice containers so I can avoid at least 85% of those trips.These are a nice looking supply of nuts and bolts that will certainly avoid those trips, for me over the next year or two.

Over the years I've been slowly building up my supply of hardware for both projects and repairs to avoid dreaded trips to the hardware store only to find they don't have what I'm looking for and then having to order online and wait for the parts to arrive. This set will be a very nice addition the on hand supply I'm building up.More often than not it's the larger size bolts that I run out of and this set will fill a dwindling supply of larger bolts. Some of these bolts will be used in my shop for up coming projects I have planned while others will be used to do repairs and upgrades around the house.When the set arrived I was impressed by just how big and complete it is. I even weighed it and this set weighs in at over 3 pounds!Since I need bolts for both indoor and outdoor projects it's great that this set is made of stainless steel so I don't have to be concerned about rusting.After examining the nuts and bolts closely I can say that this set has been finely machined and I found no burrs or imperfections.

This is a great selection of useful sizes. Everything has a nice finish and fits well together. Passes the magnet test so definitely SS. Everything comes in separate zip lock bags for it's easy to put in the compartments. I took off one star for the case - while it's not too flimsy it is too small. Sizes and different types of washers are combined and the allocated space for the washers is soo small I can't get my fingers in to get anything.

I'm always fixing something, mostly for use outside. You never know what sizes you'll need, so this nut, bolt and washer set is perfect for my needs. I prefer stainless steel which offers protection for outdoor projects. A bulk set like this is a really great value. The finish and selection are excellent. The plastic box, with dividers will help keep everything in place during storage. I'm very pleased with this 254 piece set and will order again when my supply runs low.
