I didn’t expect these to darken as much as they did. I labeled using a sharpie marker and the writing cannot be read after two years. I will be rewriting all of them using white oil paint marker and see if that works. I actually scratched in the name on the plate but can’t read that either. Not sure what others have dont to resolve this problem. Seller comments about their product would be helpful.

I purchased these items to use in our School garden. They instantly tarnished after installing them in the garden beds. Only one watering and they were dull and oxidizing. Maybe if they were indoor use only without sun moisture in the air or watering they might stay shiny. I could use a clearcoat to keep them nicer longer.

These are very sturdy and withstand weather and general garden abuse ( why does the hose always wrap around these!?)! The ink stays pretty well. There is room to write on it and attach any tags Have tried many versions of these and these are best. They are long legged which means you don’t have to crawl around to read them.

I have now placed a second order for the 100 pack. These are sturdy, hold up great to the elements so far, and with a paint pen the writing holds up. They have not rusted. When I made a mistake writing I was able to remove it with acetone (nail polish) and try again. I Love these. It's a reasonable way to label plants.

I've been using these for years to label the garden boxes, potted herbs, and trees in barrels. I just laser print clear labels and attach. I had been trying to reuse them after they fade in a couple seasons in the Sacramento sun, but that was too much effort getting the label off and polishing the copper. So I just grab a new 25 pack as needed and redo.

The side view shows how the top part of the plant stake is bent at a slight angle, making it easier to read when inserted in the ground or container. I label all my plants using a Brother Label Maker and black 1" tape with white letters. The tape is UV resistant and does NOT fade in the scorching Southern Arizona sun. I've used these plant stakes for over five years.

My wife is working on her Master Gardener certification, so, we have LOTS of different plants around the yard. This winds up with me getting totally lost in all the reds, yellows, and greens. Anyway, I asked her to keep ME in the loop as to what-was-what so I can toss out a few accurate names when showing folks around the gardens. I ordered one pack of the GardenMate (sure sounds like me) Labels and she loved them. She used the first pack in about one hour and asked for more. The labels sure look substantial to me, obviously time will tell about the 'durability' but I will try to take care of myself. So far she LIKES them, and tolerates me. The name plate section is non-magnetic and appears to really be copper - 0.0079" or 0.200mm thick. The support wires are electroplate zinc over steel 0.090" or 2.305mm dia. I ordered two more packs of 25 of these labels and look forward to a couple more hours of her entertainment.
