Important!

the airless tire is like rubber products. If it is compressed and deformed, it will gradually recover to its original shape after being still.

Solid tire like a big rubber band.

tire diameter size is small than the rim, so when you install it on the bicycle wheel, the solid will be tightly tied to the wheels.

Note:If you are an elderly person or a woman, please find someone with strong strength to help install it.

Great replacement for air tires and easy to fit on. Left it in the sun for half an hour and it easily stretched over the rim. Great value for money, I don't have to change my tubes every month, sometimes twice a month. It's a smooth ride and the tire quality is high.

The first thing I noticed after getting the tires straightened out - was that I was greatly surprised that it was not rock hard rubber but had some resiliency, but still it was tight on the rim. After reading people's notes that were all over the place, and after mounting the two 26" one that I bought, I was surprised at how easy it was for me. I am 78, had bypass surgery a year ago, a total knee replacement 3 months ago, but it was not that difficult to put the tires on.First thing I did as some others did was put them out in the sun on an 80° day for an hour. I cleaned the rim, put one tire into the rim and tied it in place tight with para-cord. Then with a couple of bicycle tire spoons, began moving the tire on inch by inch until it was on. Then made sure it was centered well with the walls on both side were equal all the way around. It took me about 7 to 8 minutes for the first one and about 5 minutes for the second one. I am not in the best of health but with a little thinking, the mounting of these tires is not difficult.I put mine on a yard cart and they roll well on grass or driveway.

The tire is very hard with no compression ability. Meaning... riding on it will feel very bumpy or rough. It does have a low rolling resistance on a smooth surface ..if that all you ride on it will be ok. But on sidewalks, roads, or ground... expect more vibration and mechanical noise.

I had one malfunction and stretch 30 miles from home. Thinking I was the cats ass with bulletproof tires, this could not be further from the truth. I think I warmed it with boiling water to get it on though but I would prefer an insert that has air still.

I was very happy to receive the pair of airless tires. Unfortunately when I began to pedal I immediately thought I was out of shape because of how hard it was to pedal. As a test I traded with my 16 year old son and asked how he felt my bike compared to his(with pneumatic tires)? He said he thought I was just getting old until he tried pedaling. I gave three stars because if you were always off-road you may not notice, but on road these tires will need to be harder and that may mean sacrificing traction. I would not recommend this tire to others though I LOVE the concept!

I tried these to run on my ebike, which has a heavy battery in a trunk box, and I found the closed cell foam these tires are made of is very soft which makes them ride like running on low tire pressure, and also creates flat spots that cause the tires to thump out of round excessively. NOT RECOMMENDED FOR THIS APPLICATION! Though I believe this effect would occur even on a non ebike application, the properties of the foam are just too soft. It was worth a try, but not what I personally needed for my application, but after testing them I can't recommend them, especially if you park the bike leaving the tires in contact with the ground causing these flat spots, which never totally re round themselves back out, added with the squirrely feel of low tire pressure they feel like they could pop the bead and roll right off the rim, which I feel they will, so I removed them from my ebike.

I almost passed on these because of some of the reviews, but in reading a few of them, there seemed to be more frustration in the difficulty of installation and no real substance on the actual product. I will say, the install is indeed more difficult than a standard tube/tire setup. Indeed, the tire almost seemed too small for the rim. They fit very snug, The first tire took a while, but I found that the use of zip ties to keep the tire seated on the rim as you make your way around working it on the rim, makes it a lot easier. The tire did not seat correctly in the rim, but once installed, I used a set of pliers to rock the tire back and forth, so it would dit into place. The ride. These tires are NOT as soft as a traditional inflatable tire, they are a little harsh, they have in fact, softened up a little bit after some road time, I suspect they will continue to improve.
