I was excited to stumble across this croquet set. It brought back fun memories of playing with my family when I was young.The balls and mallets seem a little smaller than I remember, but they work the same.The mallets feel solid. The set has a carrying case and is easy to carry and take anywhere. Retro fun.Minor note: The color of a couple of the balls doesn't match the colors on the mallets, making it a little tough to pair them up.

High quality croquet set with everything you need to get started right out of the box. I hadn't even seen a croquet game set in decades, so I was glad to see this set had everything you'd need to get the game going again, it's been since childhood that I've played.... this and bad-mitten.... but this is easier than bad-mitten, because your ball, or birdie, isn't at risk of going over a fence and into the neighbors yard. These included pieces in the set are wood mallets, they're high quality and well made, much better than I remember as a kid, for the most part.... it's an easy game to play and you only need as little as 2 people for a game, and really, you can play by yourself too, or at least practice, is I guess what you call that, but yeah, 1 person can whack away out back, no need to wait for a party. Great product.

I don’t know what croquet sets usually cost… so maybe this is just what they go for… but it seemed a little expensive to me. That said… it’s a solid set. Nothing spectacular… nothing disappointing… just exactly what was advertised.The mallets feel sturdy and were easy to put together. The balls are a little lighter than I expected… but they roll fine on grass. The stakes set up without any issues… though if your ground is really hard like mine… you might need a little effort to push them in.The carrying bag is nice for keeping everything together… and it’s a fun game to have for backyard get-togethers. Overall… if you’re looking for a decent croquet set… this one works just fine. I just might have expected a slightly lower price for what it is.

I am always looking for games we can play on out family camping trips, but we always have lots of people wanting to play. The SpeedArmis Croquet Party Set for 8 Players is just what I am looking for. I have not played since I was a kid in the 60's, so I was excited to stumble across this set.Every player gets a matching mallet and ball. The Balls are made from a crack resistant plastic, the mallets are well finished pine, and the wicket hoops are vinyl coated steel wires, so with minimal care, this set could last for many years. Also included is a roomy storage bad with draw string. I can't wait for the weather to change and we get a game of Six Wicket going. I feel this set represents a very good value.

The quality of the mallets and hoops are good - the mallets are a hardwood feeling and the hoops are thin metal. The mallets are a good height as well and there's enough for 8 players. What I don't think are good quality are the balls that come with the set - they are plastic and lighter than the ones we used to play with in our old set. This feels like a good starter set for a family, but not serious enthusiasts. We will be playing with family so it's totally fine for us. We haven't actually be able to play yet because of course it has been raining since the day they arrived! We will update in the future after long-term use.

Finally pulled the trigger on this croquet set and it was totally worth it. The mallets feel nice and sturdy once you get them screwed together - no wobbling around like some cheap sets I've read about.Setting up took a bit of elbow grease. Had to break out the hammer to get the posts into our rock-hard ground, but hey, that's better than them being too flimsy! The wickets did bend a little during setup (our yard might as well be concrete), but they still did the job just fine.Only real gripe was the teensy tiny instruction manual - felt like I needed a magnifying glass to read it! But you know what? We just winged it and made up some of our own rules along the way. Turns out that made it even more fun!We spent a fantastic afternoon playing our slightly improvised version of croquet, and honestly, those little setup quirks didn't matter one bit in the end. If you're looking for a great way to get everyone outside and laughing together, grab this set. Sometimes the best memories come from not following the rulebook anyway!
