Cheap material. Bottom edge rusted and paint color peeling off tea pot.

Does not whistle. Sloppy construction means the whistle does not seat on the spout, so the steam comes out around the whistling cap rather than through it. The kettle does heat well by induction, so we'll keep it and just watch it to see then it's boiling.

I wanted to like this small whistling tea pot but it is cheaply made with tin can thickness. The paint burns, discolors, and peals. The lid handle has a screw securing itdown and it rusts as does the inside seams. Very poor quality. Do not buy this.

Of course I like the color and lightness of this kettle. It is deceptively small but I have no problem with it when boiling water for several cups of coffee. I like the quality for the price I paid

Poor quality, poorly painted, very thin materials. Received product damaged, box looked like it had water damage. Kettle was dented. Not a good choice!

Only thing I don’t like- and I really don’t like- is the lever you pull supposedly with your thumb to open the spout. It takes some force and seems sticky or awkward. And it’s almost impossible to hold the handle with your fingers while you use your thumb to pull the lever- you have to,place your hand very far forward in order for your thumb to reach the lever, ( unless you have 6” long thumb!) and that seems dangerous, so safest thing is to hold handle with one hand while your other hand pulls back on the lever. Closing the lever is also awkward so you’ll need two hands. I’ve had whistling keeled befor and you should be able to hold the handle while using your thumb to easily open the spout- but not with this one.
