I use these knobs for woodworking jigs. I've typically used 1/4" threaded knobs in the past but having these in metric (M8) gives me some additional flexibility. I also build benches from 40/80 aluminum extrusion and my CNC machine is also made using 40/80 aluminum extrusion. I often build fixtures for my benches and these will be perfect since the typical hardware fasteners used are M8's. These are very nice knobs - solid and well made. They'll work well for me.

These are good sized, well made, Thumb Knobs. The threads go easily onto a M8 x 1.25 bolt
