If you have Ring cameras and go to install them with the stock mount, you will quickly find out their stock ball mount is highly limiting depending upon the orientation of your camera install. These are very easy to install. Open the base, slide out the back plate, slide in the replacement one, and you're ready to install this mount. I have not found a position where I wasn't able to make this mount work and felt silly not having bought these before I first tried installing my cameras, and then struggling due to the OEM mounting solution. Do yourself a favor and buy these, or any mounts that match this design. They get the job done and drastically ease the installation of Ring cameras.

These pieces are NOT fitted right. Poorly measured plastic that badly gets past the entry point and won’t go past the button to remove the holding.

This fits. It's a quality constructed camera mount with a standard size screw (along with an adapter for the Ring camera). If you don't have this particular ring camera, the mount will work fine as long as you have a standard screw hole in the device. This does not have any adhesive on the mounting pad. That's okay... but having adhesive makes it easier sometimes. For my purposes, I added double stick then placed it, then used the hardware to mount it to the surface for a secure hold.I like that it's easy to adjust and the screw knobs are easy to tighten and turn to the right angles. All in all, it's solid and a good value. --- I'll give it five stars, easily.

More of a solid base than the original. In order to use them, you have to take the back plate off the camera itself. Years of dirt made mine feel like it was sealed, but eventually it slid out. After inserting the new plate, you now can attach the camera to a screw versus the ball and socket style of the original bracket. The ball joints aren't bad, but I have noticed in trying to adjust the camera, it can more easily pull out of the socket. Having the screw attachment makes this a little more difficult. My one drawback is I would like to have been able to reverse the back plate and have the attachment at the top of the camera instead of the bottom. Just my preference based on how my camera was attached to the house, but overall satisfied with these new bases.

Great mount makes it easier to remove the batteries to charge them.

I find the note that comes with the ring stick up camera just isn't sufficient because it doesn't give much range of motion, especially when you're trying to point the camera down. I got these notes so that I can mount the camera as high and then angle them dow. These mounts do just that and give plenty of range of motion up and down and left and right. They are so much more affordable than the Ring brand of amounts. Everything is included to mount these. They seem well-made made of metal instead of plastic.
