Very strong. Wrapped around a tree limb and stays in place. Not secured no way to lock it up. Camera just snaps in like wall mount. I would buy again.

I am currently using these for two Blink cams outside. The cams right now are focused on each of two Hummingbird feeders (I live in Fl, where we only get Hummers in early Fall through early Spring). One is attached to a small tree branch near a feeder, around 1 1/2” in diameter. The other is on a tall garden stake near second feeder, around 1/4” in diameter. These are easily wound around both, and stay in position. They even stay put in the case of the tree, when bigger birds bounce around in it, and on the branch cam is on. Blue Jays are there often as they love to drink out of ant moat on Hummer feeder…eight bird baths, and they chose the ant moat, lol! Also stays put in higher winds, too, and if on a stable item like garden stake, don’t move.I was surprised that they would work so well on such small diameters. These are sturdy enough that you have to put a little effort into winding it around something and positioning it, but not so much so that it’s in any way difficult. With these I’m not limited to only the distance between the feeders and the branch/stake cams are on. They give you flexibility to position the camera as close or away to something as you’d like. Even if these are extended out a bit from where they are “anchored” the cam will stay in place, and not easily move out of desired position.Love these!

I use this in my pool area to keep watch of the pump/hoses when we open the pool in the summer to fall. Great alternative as I can remove the camera and holder once we close the pool up and no need to permanently mount the camera and holder. Had issue with hoses and water draining and was able to capture this on camera and react quickly!

These attach to the Blinks by snapping into the cutout in the back. They make batteries easier to change and do fine in locations where they are shielded from wind or other physical pressure, even as mild as backyard birds, which manage to rip the Blinks from the mounts just by standing on them. This doesn’t happen with the screw-on flexible mounts.

The two pack of grippers was perfect as I had two battery operated cameras that needed to be attached to odd areas. The one was watching a pond feeder and needed to be secured under the feeder so the ability to twist around the piping of the feeder was just perfect. The other one was for a camera to watch my dog and needed to be twisted over a piece of furniture. Both were long enough and strong enough to twist and secure the cameras and I just need to un screw the camera at the end to recharge without losing the grip. These are so versatile and as long as they fit the screw hole of your camera, they have many uses.

I bought white and black sets. The black tighten just fine but I had trouble with the white one tightening and keeping the camera straight. After I think I’ve secured it, the camera turns on its own because it isn’t tightened and won’t tighten.

I wanted to place a Blink camera on my back porch but there was no place to mount it. I ordered this flexible twist mount and was able to twist it on one of the spindles of the railing and attach the camera. I'm also able to raise or lower the height of the mount without leaving any marks on my spindle.
