These flaps do not properly fit the Ideal Pet Products "Ruff Weather" dog door. They are slightly too short, so the magnet at the bottom of the door does not hold the flap in place. Additionally, the material stays "waivy", so it does not seal the sides of the opening. This is going back.

Easy transaction. This was also easy to replace our old broken doggie door flaps.

I almost gave this 5 stars. First, as most know, it comes rolled up and appears to not want to go flat. I read a different comment that mentioned using heat. (She used her clothes dryer.) I just took the flap and put it against a wall and ran a hair dyer up and down, over and out. I bent the flap in the direction I wanted to correct, and heat that part (now kind of rounded) on both sides. Made a slightly vertical fold and held it for a couple seconds. Turned out perfect! And it took less than 5 minutes for each flap. I didn't look on the website to see if they mentioned that, but it works. I cleaned and saved my old ones for emergencies.

Do not buy. The replacement flaps fit the same as the original ones . After a couple of days use the rivets holding the metal bottom piece on are coming off. Now the entire metal piece has com off. Which helps seal the bottom

The only reason these did not get a five star rating is because to ship them they rolled them up tightly in a box. Because of this I had to come up with a way to straighten them. I found heat was the only way. I have a insert that fits in my dryer for shoe drying it worked. A hair dryer and some effort would also work.
