I always like to have extra batteries on hand for photoshoots but that can be expensive if you stick with the name brand. These generic versions have been working just fine with my Canon R5-C, I can’t really tell the difference from the original. I actually like the charger of this set better as it’s easier to use a cable to plug into the wall vs. the original which is a bulky unit that plugs into the wall. I also prefer that this can charge 2 batteries at once instead of just one. If you use a PD charger it’ll recharge them in no time. These seem to hold up as well as the OEM but I’ll have to use them for longer period of time to know for certain their longevity. But for the price it’s hard to beat!

I used the charger to charge the provided batteries separately. One in each slot to ensure the charger was functioning correctly. The charger display is bright and it is obvious from the bars shown for charging what is happening when you plug it in.The batteries seemed to charge quickly and the unit or usb cable did not get hot during the process. I have yet to charge the original Canon battery in this as it is fully charged at this time.I tested the batteries in my 80D. The camera immediately indicated that the battery was not a Canon battery and did I was to proceed with this non-canon product. For this, I deducted a star. The camera functioned ok with these batteries and the fit was identical, no difficult fits or difficulty in getting the batteries into the camera body.

I picked up the GOROFO LP-E6NH Battery and Charger Set recently, and I have to say, I’m impressed! The batteries arrived uncharged, but honestly, that gave me the perfect chance to test the charger right out of the box. The charger’s LCD display is super handy—it shows you exactly how much juice each battery has, so no more guessing. After charging them up, I popped them into my Canon R5, and they worked just as well as my expensive Canon batteries.Performance-wise, these batteries hold up great so far. I’ve used them for a few shoots, and they’ve performed just like the OEM ones, which is really all I could ask for. I also tested them with my wireless tethering setup, and they worked perfectly there too. The charger is super versatile with Type-C and Micro-USB ports, so I can plug it into a power bank on the go or a wall charger in my studio. This setup just fits into my workflow so easily, especially when I’m on a tight schedule.The best part? These batteries cost a fraction of what Canon charges. Let’s face it—Canon batteries are awesome, but the price can be ridiculous. With these, you get the same performance without blowing your budget. I can’t say how they’ll hold up long-term yet, but so far, I’m really happy with the quality. Plus, the warranty gives me a bit of extra confidence if something does go wrong.One last thing: the GOROFO logo is kind of funny—it looks a lot like a certain action camera brand. Not a big deal, but it did make me chuckle. If you’re looking for a reliable, affordable alternative to Canon’s batteries, this set is a solid choice. I’m really happy I gave them a try, and I’ll probably grab another set soon!

Got these as a replacement for my canon camera and it charges fast and lasts long! Worth it for the money and price. Fits like OEM batteries and is easy to charge two batteries at once.

It charges the batteries just fine. I can't comment on it any further as I apparently got the wrong thing and I can't use these batteries. Oh well.

This is a nice charger and batteries set. When I first saw that the charger is USB powered, I had some concerns about its use. However, after thinking about it for a bit I realized that while I am on location, I mostly only have access to USB charging, so this is actually a good thing. The batteries seem to charge at the same speed as my charger that plugs into the wall, which is also good.Now for some background on batteries. I have had extremely bad experiences with brand name batteries, which is why I no longer buy any batteries from the manufacturer of my EOS 5D Mark IV. It usually takes over a year to fully evaluate batteries, as most fail within a year or shortly thereafter, if they are going to fail early. So, at this time a can't really provide a review for the batteries, other than they work. If the batteries fail prematurely, I will post an update to this review.I think I tried 3 non-brand name batteries over the years, making this the 4th. The first one that I tried completely failed within 3-4 months, while the other 2 brands are still working to this day. A good battery will work through 1,000-2,000 full charge cycles, great batteries will work through 5,000-10,000 full charge cycles, and bad batteries usually fail within 500 full charge cycles. The manufacturer brand name batteries ended up being in that last group, and they cost significantly more than the 3rd party batteries.Until I have had these batteries for at least 1.5 years, I can't provide a recommendation. That in no way means that the charger or batteries are not good, it simply means that when I give a recommendation, I stand by it. If I don't post an update by July 2026, you can assume that I have not run into any issues. I hope this helps. BEST
