I bought two of these 3 years ago. I needed more for a different bathroom, and with Amazon's encouragement to reorder, I placed an order for three more. I received them this week and the suck. Yes, a play on words. I am furious because I know why...since I am an expert in injection molded plastic manufacturing. Someone changed the raw material (thermoplastic) in order to save money. Now, whoever did that in the supply chain, has a product that simply doesn't work, even when brand new. Look at the picture I took - you can see the cross section of what is supposed to be the "suction cup"....but the profile is all curly. So....it won't complete the vacuum seal that it needs to in order to remain on the glass, tile or metal vertical surface. I'm ordering more and more from Walmart dot com as I am running into problems with Amazon pretty regularly. Don't buy these.
