For my large kitten, the balls did not last very long. My kitten loved playing with balls. I found letting my kitten play with one ball, I could keep the other one charging. These balls have a small round cover over the place to open and place the charger, the covers kept coming off. .

Update:I received two that work then next day after setting up the exchange.These provide hours of entertainment, stimulation, and help with exercise for my cats.The technology is so cool in that they’re like little critters! They jump and “run” and work their way into and sometimes out of corners.Keep your ears open in case they work themselves into a hiding spot as you’ll lose them if they stop making noises.They charge up quickly.Very cool technology that simulate real live critters. My cats love these.

My cat is loving this toy but it seems to only have 2 modes; fast and faster. For the life of me I can't figure out how to get it to shut off after 5 minutes or how to be in standby (as described) so it reacts after the cat touches it. I got two and they both behave the same. Either fast or faster, it runs until its battery is depleted. If I could figure this out I would have given it 5 stars.

We have two feral cats (both have been trapped and fixed) living in our garage. One loves to play (Little); the other loves to eat and lay in the cat bed on top of the heating pad (Tom). I was excited to get this pair of PetGravity "speedy balls" for Little. Both balls arrived charged and ready to go right out of their boxes, and each came with an attached but removable little tail (similar to the "worm" toys you can get for cats), an extra feather tail that can be put on instead, and a USB C charger (with no adapter to plug them in to the wall).The balls have two speeds but both are extremely fast. These balls zoom and zip around while lights flash to further attract your cats. If one of the balls bump into something, it will switch directions. Even when it doesn't come across anything in its path, it often changes course. There is no slow option. The balls turn off automatically after 5 minutes of racing around, but there's also a "smart option" where the ball will stop moving after awhile unless touched and then it will take off racing around again. To set that function, make sure the ball is powered on and then hold down the button for a few seconds (as opposed to just clicking it). The smart option is a great feature because it allows your cat to take a break and come back when they're ready without you having to repeatedly power the ball on.So far that battery life has been good for us. The balls have charged well and seem like a good value.Oh, and I almost forgot, even big ol' Tom got out of bed to see what all the fuss was about. Both Tom and Little love these balls and will chase them around the garage. We're all happy with them and recommend them!

These little guys are a unique cat's way to say the least :-) I love interactive toys for my little babies and they really liked these immediately once charged which didn't take very long once pulling out of the box they were ready to go pretty much! The only thing I wish was different is if they were a little larger they're smaller than I thought they were however for the price you really can't beat it it will keep your fur babies busy and it's in my opinion not just for cats but dogs as well would love them I'm hoping my little chunker but will lose some poundage while playing with these adorable toys! I would highly recommend and I want to say thank you to the seller for being an honest one!
