This review was based on the original version. It appears the improved version has the 45° handle angle that I recommended in the review. The head of the tool is very effective at quickly scraping up weeds either just above or just below the ground surface. The handle angle, though, puts the handle too close to the ground, making it difficult to drag the teeth into the ground. I changed the handle angle to about 45 degrees with respect to the head, which makes the tool much more effective and easier to use. I would rate it 5 stars with this modification.The toothed part of the head is the only part I intentionally use. I don't see any need for the scraper end except as a fulcrum for prying out a stubborn weed.

Wow, it is so easy to take up weeds at the root! It makes weeding fun and who would think that was even possible! A must have tool!

This has proved, hands down, to be my favorite garden tool! The thin, yet strong, blades help pull even thicker weeds with ease. It’s also great for planting and mixing fertilizer or compost into the soil. 100% recommend!

This tool is a must for your weed pulling! The teeth are sharp and it has no problem getting at the base of the weed and pulling up the entire root or most of the root. I love this and what a deal! I totally recommend this as one of a primary gardening tool!

These things SHRED through the ground and you too if you're not careful. They're insanely sharp and has no mercy about what it runs through. Definitely worth the price, they're easy to use- mostly.The issue I ran into was the grip on the handle sliding off. If you wear the right kind of working gloves it's not really an issue as you can just hold onto the metal pole by itself and you won't have any problems. I got the handle saturated in fine dirt and had less of an issue with it after that.

These are great weeders. They are sharp, efficient, easy to use and are able to grab even the densest weed patch. I love these - a great tool for the value. I highly recommend.
