It is good for pulling weeds from flower patches, gardens, etc. It does not work very well in digging up weeds in the Oklahoma (mostly) clay soil where I live. When the ground is dry, it gets very hard and the tines will bend if I yank too hard on them. That said, I can use a pair of pliers and straighten them out. Also I've learned that if I moisten the soil first, that helps a lot. Worth the money in my opinion...

I had overgrown area of a lot of weeds and vines. this tool helped me complete the clearing SO MUCH quicker than pulling by hand. I highly recommend, I just wished I found this tool 20 yrs ago....... :)

I like that this little tool does get the roots. You have to then dislodge the roots from tool. I’m assuming that is why gloves come with this tool. Works real well. So much easier than hand pulling those smaller weeds and vines.

It works best when you get down low so you can get the right angle to pull grass roots. I thought it was a cure-all for weed pulling without having to crouch down when I bought it and was disappointed when it wasn't. Once I found out how to use it when I do get down on my knees and can strike it at the right angle, I love it. I can clear out unwanted grass in garden beds, vegetable gardens and in the clear area around tree trunks way faster than I ever could before. I would happily buy another pair if I lost these two. Build quality is solid.

These are small, they're easy. They're the most effective tool I've found to remove that stupid cursed ivy that I can't get rid of. They don't get rid of it, it's going to grow back because that's what ivy does, but it's a quick easy and satisfying job to rip that stuff out. This is a great tool for that. It works on other weeds, too, but the ivy is a constant demon of my beautiful landscaping, and this little tool makes quick work of it.

Just go ahead and but these, do it for your hands and fingers. It makes weeding a garden or flower bed so much easier! So happy I bought them.
