This is an inexpensive way to use your dumbbells for doing leg exercises. Once you get them adjusted they work fine, they will have a little slop in them but its something you should get use to.

First of all I wear a woman's 10 shoe the velcro that's secures it to the foot isn't long enough on the strap. The design is flawed in the way it holds the dumbell you would have to take the while thing apart to switch weights. Love the idea of this but this particular product didn't work. Find one with better reviews

These are way better than ankle weights! Comfortable and easy to use. I needed some options to do leg curls and weighed donkey kicks and these do the trick. Some reviewers complained it was hard to figure out how to use them but I had no issues. They also seem to be well made. I'm happy with my purchase.

I had originally bought a pair with two single straps around the weights. The weights dangled. I sent those back and bought these with one thick, wide strap. I have used with 5 lb and 8 lb weights so far and they are great. It took me a while to figure out how to get the weight on correctly so that the foot and heel velcro worked without twisting the strap. Once I figured that out they worked great. I did find getting my heel in first and strapping high on my heal worked better than strapping my foot first. A little trial and error on foot position will result in a perfect tight fit against your foot. I did sitting quad exercises and a in and out tap for the inner and out thigh while sitting. For the hamstrings I did two standing exercises because of my age & concerns it may be hard to get on and off the bench with the weights on safely. I normally use the bench for floor exercises. I made the mistake of 20 years ago giving my old weight bench to my son. These are perfect for my small bench that has no attachments

Watch the video. It helps explain how to put this thing together. LOL I’ve never used one of these before, and it had me stumped at first. And then, my 2-pound weight was a little small for it, so the strap didn’t fit easily in between the two ends of the weight, but I just pushed it in more forcefully. After recovering from an injury, I’m pretty much back to square-one with my fitness routines. This is really helpful in getting my leg strength back. They’re a little cumbersome to attach, but that’s not a deal-breaker. My only complaint is that the Velcro strip isn’t long enough. My feet are small, so when I wrap it around my shoe, there isn’t enough of the fuzzy part of the Velcro to attach to . I’ll need to sew more on further down the strap so this stays secure around my shoe.

I had to keep tightening the straps once I put the dumbbells on which was inconvenient and a possible hazard. I still use them but not sure of their effectiveness since I don’t use them often. Looking for a way to hold straps more securely so I can use them more. Any suggestions?
