I used this installing an AC to swage the lineset. When swaging the high side it work perfectly. Both sides of my line set were ⅜. After using it on one side I was able to swage it the exact size I needed to.When using it to swage the ¾ line at the A coil I realized the swage tool only goes up to ¾. So I had to use a different tool to swage that point.Overall I am happy with it. The tools works well and very quickly when using it on my impact drill. Just be careful because the friction makes the lineset very hot. Aside from that zero complaints. Just wish this tool went up to ⅞ instead of ¾

These came and I was excited to try them out. First they have some kind of coating on them like a thick black enamel. I don’t know how this will change the size of the swag. I started using this in the drill and the hex bottom stripped out. Yes I can still use this in a regular drill but so much for hardened steel. Also the black coating or paint wore off at the point of use in the tubing. I stopped at that point. I may try it again with a different drill but I am not impressed with the “high hardness”. They do come clearly marked and you get two, which is good since the first one stripped out.
