The only problem was that in order to use my original bolts for the handles, i had to return the holes through the serving using a hot nail. For some reason, the handles have a plastic mounting plate that has the webbing blocking the hole for the bolt. Once I burned it open, it mounted properly and seems sturdy. My original handle failed due to you the exposure; we'll have to wait and see how long this one lasts.

Replacement handle for Wilderness Systems 140 -- heavy duty -- similar to OEM which gave out after ~15 years.

The attaching bolts have held reasonably well. I know this would be a niche purchase but if you own a kayak you will at some point require replacement handles. I recommend these

I do not have a kayak , BUT I had a suitcase that had a broken handle. This was a quick and easy fix for that old suitcase. It took 5 minutes and a drill and the handle was ready for travel. I would HIGHLY recommend these for handle replacement for a suitcase. Saved me a lot of money by not having to buy new luggage. I am sure that they would also work great on a kayak!!!! This is a quality , sturdy product.

This was an easy replacement to the broken straps on the old kayak. The 4 straps cover an entire boat and great value! Normally $15 a strap. Very easy to do, about 10 min. There was plenty of hardware if I needed it but I was able to reuse the old screws. Highly recommend! Great straps with great quality.

I have a subwoofer in my car that I sometimes need to remove for extra storage. I put a quick disconnect on the wire and then bought a set of these to use for handles. I have no idea how well they work for kayaks, etc, but I can say they are perfect for speaker box lifting :) installation was easy and all materials seem to be of good quality.

I did not use this product as intended. I needed handles to attach to my telescope so it can be easily moved on it's wheels. It has worked wonderfully for this. I am unfortunately unable to comment on the other parts in this kit as I did not use them. I did add strips of glow in the dark tape to the handles so they are some easily viewed in the dark.
