I got these for a very specific use. The description made it sound like even a weakling like me could make it work. Not so. Scratch that Idea! I did find another use for them, however, that does not require putting them in a binder. They were useful, just not as simple of an application as I was hoping for.

This binder mechanism can be used as is. You can add a thick 8"x11" cardboard cover to each end if you like (that's how I am using it). Or, you can make your own binder and attach this mechanism since it comes with the required hardware.

These are sturdy and feel like excellent quality. I wanted to make my own scrapbook so adding these in will be perfect. It comes with all the pieces you need and is a lot simpler construction than I would have anticipated

I used this to make a scrap book out of leather. Luckily it comes with 2 because the first bent as I was trying to get it out of the bubble wrap. Then when I put the second one in the binder one of the rings didn't quite close all the way. It does the job but don't expect something that is super high quality

These binder mechanisms are exactly what I was looking for, to make custom sized binders for antique prints. The screws make the installation an absolute breeze. 3mm were included in this kit but 4mm is what worked better for me, but it will depend on your supplies.
