This is not something I will use daily, but great for those many papers (ie tax forms, ins policies, etc) that you need to keep organized. I ordered several sizes and brands but this suits my needs very well.

Great sturdy binder with a nice additional sturdy red tab to open all 3 rings at the bottom that is hard plastic and not metal (awesome). Doesn't feel cheap or flimsy and even has 2 clear pockets on both sides of the binder, and 2 pockets on the inside. I've placed 2 packs of college rule paper in there already with an additional few sheets from an older pack. It looks like I could fit a whole nother pack in there as well, but will wait considering papers thicken up once used and this is a second binder to one I've already filled up for dream interpretations. So once I add to the dreams I have yet to interpret from the older binder, I may need to take some of the recent dreams and put them in the front of this new binder. Other than that, it's an awesome binder and would definitely recommend. To close it all the way just shake the papers downward until they all settle in the middle of the ring and you're good to go!

Got this is a great price, very nice quality- not flimsy at all and very thick rings so stays put. Had this for more than 6 months- and still remains intact and good shape as the first day of usage. I love that the ring dividers are big so it can hold more sheets. Still have plenty to go!

These binders are great - but with one flaw! It's not clearly advertised if the rings are placed on the back cover or on the spine. Depending on the picture, it shows different things. When they came in, the rings were attached to the spine, which means that you'll have to position the pages in the center and use plastic end pieces in order to be able to put the binder back on a shelf. I prefer the rings to be mounted to the back so all I have to do is lay down the binder, quickly flip the pages to lay flat on the back, and put it away. I was so disappointed when I got these and saw the rings on the spine, so I had to return them.I seriously questioned keeping them though. These are incredibly sturdy, the rings are actually round (some try to pass off D-rings or slant rings as round by not using clear advertising), and the one-touch works AMAZINGLY WELL! In the end, I knew the functionality of having the rings on the spine just wouldn't work, so I ended up purchasing Wilson binders instead. The customer service on returning them was great and very simple.Bottom line...CARDINAL - rings on the spine, sturdy, great one-touch opener, awesome and smooth clear covers and spines, great customer serviceWILSON - rings on the back, not as sturdy but better than basic ones, great one-touch opener, slightly rippled and loose clear covers and spines, poor customer serviceDepending on what means more to you (for me it was the rings being mounted to the back and having a one-touch opening tab), I would use the "bottom line" information right above this to make your decision before purchasing.

I am a trading card game (TCG) hobbyist who was looking for an inexpensive binder to put some more of my collection in to. This binder has great capacity, and I'm really impressed by the easy open clip. When filling a binder up with card protector pages, nothing is more frustrating that not having a hand free to keep the pages from jumping off a ring (I probably overfill my binders...). With this binder, it was so easy to open/close the rings with just one hand I don't have that worry. Would buy more of these if I needed to expand my collection

I love this binder. Usually with binders this size (I got the 2 inch one), they're hard to open and close. Prior to buying this one, I bought one that broke my nail the first time I tried opening it! This binder really is easy to open and can be done with one finger. The rings are round rather than D-shaped, and I've always found that pages turn more smoothly over round rings than D-shaped rings. Highly recommended.

These are just about perfect. The rings are strong, and the red plastic lever opens and closes/locks the rings. There are flaps inside front and back for temporary storage of a few sheets of paper. You can write the title of the notebook on a strip of posterboard or stiff paper and slip it into the spine. You can print the title of the notebook on a piece of paper and slip it into the front cover. Round rings make it easy to grab the spine so you can handle it when removing it from your bookshelf and replacing it onto your bookshelf [as opposed to D-ring binders which are sometimes difficult to hold]. I have bought at least a couple dozen of these in recent years and cannot recall one ever failing to close tightly. Cardinal EasyOpen View Binders come in 1.0, 1.5, 2.0, and 3.0 inch sizes. My favorite! [Note added 8/21/14: Received another one on 8/13/14 and I notice that the pockets inside the front and back covers are different; they are translucent and higher. My best guess is that they will better secure the material from falling out, but perhaps won't hold as much bulk as the old style of pockets. Label says sku 0 83086 1110 3 or model/style 5724971]
