The item I ordered was made of aluminum (as written in title of item in my purchased items list). The T-handles I received were cheap black plastic. When I went to empty my waste tank the handle broke the FIRST TIME I used it!I expected the T-handles to be aluminum, they weren'tI expected the T-handles to work - they didn't!

These are simple replacements. They have ¼” threads and easily threaded onto the valve stem. I held the rod/stem with a pair of pliers (close to the threads so I didn’t damage the rod where it goes inside the valve). That allowed me to get it really tight.So far, this has worked well and since it is a two pack…I now have a spare! While I can’t speak to its longevity, for now it is working great!MY PERSONAL COMMENTS:I am an approved Amazon Vine Member. One of my handles broke. This exactly replaces it. Its slightly smaller but not enough to matter. Works well.
