DO NOT GET THIS! The metal is probably the weakest I've ever encountered. I have zero to no upper body strength, but I could still bend this product with no effort. Returned the product and got my money back. Save yourself sometime and don't get this!

The intended use of this kitchen gadget is pretty specialized, admittedly. I didn't even know what to do with the cactus until a friend came over and showed me. Neither of us had much praise for this contraption.In concept, it's a good idea. Its spoon-like shape should let you dig out just the spiny parts of the cactus without taking great big chunks out of it, like when you use a knife. However its flimsy construction and its blunt edge doesn't dig the spines out very well at all. And it's very difficult to sharpen due to its odd rounded shape. Not impressed.
