This is just two plastic pieces. There aren’t even holes in the plastic even to use my own screws to connect to the wall. I guess I’m supposed to use a sticker like command strips? But I’ll have to go to the hardware store to find something. It’s a shame because I love the concept but the execution isn’t user friendly.

This comes with the tape/velcro already in place - just peel and stick, you're done. For me though, I felt the need to add a screw to both pieces to ensure there'd be no slippage with the weight of the umbrellas. I installed it on the inside of my front door - so it's the last thing you see when leaving. I have yet to need an umbrella and not have one since getting this. I bought several cheap 8$ golf umbrellas at the local Home Depot and stoked the stand up.

Maybe two umbrellas was too much? But not according to the description. Pulled paint and paper off the wall when umbrellas were stored there. Did not last a day.

I bought 2 of these for the shelter I volunteer at to store several cat wand toys. This was perfect because I could alter the height of the top bracket for different size wand toys.

I was looking for something like this to attach to the inside of my coat closet. Since it accommodates the long traditional umbrellas, you can space the two pieces apart to whatever length apart works for you.I rated "Sturdiness" only 3 stars because the combination hook-&-loop/adhesive wouldn't hold. I keep two large umbrellas in it and it kept falling off the door. The door which is painted in enamel paint has a good surface for adhesives so it should have held. I dispensed with their adhesive and used 3M tape instead, now it's holding. Just keep in mind that 3M tape sticks so well that you must get it right on the first try or you'll have problems. Their tape works fine for the top half of the holder since it bears no weight.I rated "Easy to assemble" 4 stars because it takes some aligning with a straight-edge (I used a yard stick) and a spirit level. There isn't any actual assembly involved just precise mounting which when using 3M tape can be challenging.

Needed something for a tight space to keep umbrellas off the floor and tidy. This was PERFECT. I used 3M Velcro strips instead of the double sided tape sent with it only because I needed to be sure I could remove it cleanly if needed. Highly recommend. Holds a few large golf umbrellas.

Wouldn't stick to the wall by itself let alone with an umbrella in it!
