Great yarn over all but definitely lacks quality control. Half way through my project I see that the yarn had torn and had been retied. Very very disappointing!

I am not a beginner when it comes to crocheting, but I have several family members who are learning how to crochet and make amigurumi. I wanted to see how this yarn differed from regular yarns since it’s described as being great for beginners. I can see how this yarn would be ideal for newbies. The yarn looks more like a rolled or tubular mesh rather than twisted fibers that can split easily and frustrate beginners. It is easier to see the definition in the crochet stitches (I’m guessing with knitting, too, but I don’t knit…). Since it’s more of a smooth tube, it’s not like regular yarn where the fibers can “melt into” each other and can obscure the stitch definition. The yarn really is easy to work with and I would not hesitate to suggest it for someone who wants to begin learning crochet or knitting.

I grabbed a few sets of these for our youth crochet club, perfect yarn for beginners and great holiday colors! Loved how it came with needed accessories

Love the colors of this yarn. Has a different feel than other beginner yarns but I like it. Looking forward to making some crochet animals in Christmas colors
