This indexable face mill uses replaceable carbide inserts. When all of an insert's cutting edges are worn, simply replace the insert instead of swapping out the entire tool.
Face mills are required to be mounted onto an arbor to use with your milling machine.
The arbor's pilot diameter must be equal to the face mill's arbor hole diameter.

We use this quit often, just about daily in our mill. It leave a great finish and can not complain about the price.

All the inserts are within .0015 and my finish on cast iron is really nice. If you've got a snaggle tooth, you'll definitely see it on Cast Iron. Great value here.

A good value for the price, mount this on a quality arbor and you will have a good cutter. You are never going to get every insert at the same height and I measured mine. There was one that was .001 higher than the rest which is in tolerance for the K grade of insert. Never the less it left a very good finish on my cast iron test plate. If you have a project that requires removing wide areas of material, this is a time saver.

Although this was not an Amazon Prime item I was pleasantly surprise to receive this item in much less time than estimated. The quality is very good and the price is great given it includes inserts. For a home machinist I am very happy with this purchase.
