The fan worked great . I sat it on top of my buddy heater in a dear blind and didn't need the heater any higher than lowest setting. The fan started working after a minute or two and kept the space plenty warm.

What a great product. When I first unpacked this tiny fan I thought I had ordered the wrong one. I thought it was too small to be effective and was I wrong. This fan has three times the power of my old one that is twice the size. It really moves the warm air and has made a huge difference in room temp.Just received my second one. Highly recommended.

Fan operates and works when heated up on stove but moves very little to no air. Bigger blades needed or faster speed some how.

As a lot of folks here mention, this does move SOME air. Not a lot, but you CAN feel it...when the stove it hot. I have mine on the "cool" side of the top surface which can hit 700 degrees. At those temps, it is really spinning fast.It has an interesting feature to help prevent damage due to over temps. There is a bi-metallic tab in the base that will RAISE the front of the fan off the surface about 3/16" if it gets too hot. It really works.Since I got this item on sale here for less than twenty bux, it was definitely worth it.

I ordered 2 fans for my parents who prefer to heat with their wood burning fireplace. Since their fireplace insert doesn't have a built in fan they were losing a lot of heat up the chimney. They tell me the fans work great! There was a noticeable difference in the amount of heat they are getting from the fireplace making it much more efficient. They also commented about how quiet they are and don't require any hydro to run is a bonus! They highly recommend them.I also want to mention that BNI delivered the items for Amazon. I've ordered quite a bit through Amazon and had never heard of this delivery service, so I didn't know what to expect. The package shipped Feb 02 with an expected delivery date of Sunday Feb 07. I was kinda skeptical about this delivery date because my parents live in a remote area in the Parry Sound region. I was surprised when I checked the tracking on Saturday Feb 06 and it said it was out for delivery from Bracebridge Ontario. I had been talking to my parents and they were getting some really nasty weather (another foot of snow over Friday night). Amazingly, their package was delivered Saturday afternoon! The Courier Driver must have had to wait for the snow plow to go through first, there was that much snow. Thank you so much to that delivery driver who went above and beyond, much appreciated!!
