This actually did make a difference in sound. I had such a deep base, coming out of my base canon of an exhaust that it was making my ears pop. This actually did lower the volume of sound and made it a lot more tolerable. I have a glass pack and a different exhaust tip on the end of it And it made the base so loud it was messing with my ears so this stuff actually worked. I was honestly really surprised if they would just send me the dang bolt the first place I would’ve gave it five.

I stuffed this into the end of my Vibrant StreetPower muffler at the end of my K20 civic's exhaust hoping for the best, but the spectrum analyzer shows less than 1dB reduction, which my ears confirm.Seemed worth a shot, but not a win in my car's case.

I was needing to reduce by 2 decibels and I figured it might reduce it by 1 so I bought two of them. It fits perfect into 2.5” OD 16 gauge muffler tip. It saved me and lowered it by a total of 4 decibels. This price is amazing as well. The other company that sells these charges $100 each. This is nearly half the price and is high quality 304 stainless
