The 2161 Pool Vacuum Cleaner Handheld has been a game-changer for cleaning our above-ground pool. It’s incredibly efficient at sucking up dirt, sand, and debris, leaving the pool water crystal clear. The design makes it easy to maneuver around the pool, and I love how powerful the suction is – it quickly removes everything from the pool floor with minimal effort. It’s lightweight, and the battery life lasts long enough to get the whole pool cleaned. Overall, this vacuum cleaner makes pool maintenance so much easier, and I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a reliable handheld pool cleaner.

This handheld pool vacuum is good for quick and easy cleaning. The rechargeable battery lasts up to an hour, and the water sensor automatically turns it on and off. It’s great for removing small debris, pollen, and bugs between deep cleanings. The included extension pole, skimmer net, and scrub brush make it a complete maintenance kit. A great addition for any pool owner!

This pool / spa cleaning kit is a high-quality product that is a useful tool for cleaning spas and above ground pools – but its debris capacity and pole reach may not be well suited to larger in-ground pools. Here are some of this product’s salient features:• The vacuum system is relatively easy to assemble, and the accompanying instructions are simple and clear (the Amazon website depictions are excellent)• The battery has a unique wall charger and plug and has a reasonable life when in use• The battery-operated pool vacuum has no on/off switch; it turns on when immersed in water and turns off when removed. Weird, but I kinda like that feature!• I do like the sturdy telescoping pole for the vacuum – great for spas and above ground pools but no way could I use it in a 6’ deep inground pool• The pool vacuum does well at picking up small to medium sized debris. It cannot accommodate seed pods or leaf clusters and the silty sediment that the desert winds deposit in our pool just blow through vacuum filtering system.• The debris container of the vacuum is relatively small but adequate for typical spa cleaning tasks.• The debris container is easy to remove and to clean out,• The accessories that come with this vacuum are pretty generic and well suited to smaller cleaning tasksOVERALL: this is a good and useful pool cleaning system for spas and above ground pools; not so much for the larger in-ground pools

I didn't think it could handle the job. It's surprises me each time I use it. We leave the water in our pool and so you can imagine, this time of the year it has a lot of mess to clean up. We do a treatment that turns green water to clear and then all the stuff falls to the bottom and you have to vacuum it up. Well...in regards to that, this vacuum doesn't do well. The fine particles just shoot right through the filter and clouds up the pool again. So if that's what your looking for, this is not it. With that said, if you have a lot of leaves and grass and a little bit bigger particles in your pool, this will suck it right up. The battery lasts well. I got several uses out of one charge. Set up was easy. This is way better than the little vacuums that hook up to your hose, but not as good as the vacuum that hooks up to your pool filter. Right in the middle. I can see that in the summer it's going to make for quick everyday clean up, but save your filter vac for the heavy duty opening season clean ups.

I was attracted to this pool vacuum offered by the YMSJ company because it looked light weight and had an extendable pole handle that will reach the bottom on my above ground pool. While the Amazon ad didn't show it, there were a fully detailed set of instructions as well as safety instructions for the use of this pool appliance included inside the set's packing box. The rechargeable feature of the vacuum included a wall-plug charging device and water-lock cap for the charging port which were also attractive. This vacuum’s battery reaches a full status in just 2 hours (check the red or green light on the charging device) and when full, will run the device for about 45 mins to an hour of continual use which is longer than I hope to be doing any hand-cleaning. I thought it was unusual that this vacuum has a water sensor which turns the vacuum "on" and "off" as it enters or is removed from the water so there are no buttons for manually turning the machine “on” and “off.” (I’m not sure if this is a “good” or “bad” thing but it’s a fairly high-tech feature.)There are some small jobs involved in keeping my pool clean that have become tedious, so I have been needing something better than just the standard skimmer to deal with them. I felt that this light-weight vacuum would be perfect for those. These frustrating chores include removing the daily accumulations of small leaves, trying to suck up the spring pollen and the summer silt dust, and removing the daily bug accumulation of gnats & wasps, which I get a lot of. I don’t expect this handheld vacuum to replace my a substitute for my higher powered floor crawler vacuum with the huge dirt & debris compartment, but it will work well for the in those other “in-between” cleaning times. In addition to the hand-held vacuum and it’s pole extension and 2 sets of nozzle heads, this set is a full-cleaning maintenance equipment kit. It comes with a second smaller, 3-part pole which has two attachments: a sturdy half-sized, deep pocketed skimmer net (perfect for grabbing out toys or other things that fall into the pool) and a 2” soft bristled brush for the pool’s walls The final item they’ve included is a white scrubby pad with handle (attached) for those tougher types of dirt that need to be scrubbed. These add-ons seem to be sturdy so they should work well and last awhile. I can’t think of anything else the company might have added except chemicals and I prefer to get my own. This maintenance kit equipment set really does include everything needed to keep the inside of a pool in good shape. I’m very pleased that I will finally be able to take care of the smaller pool maintenance chores more effectively.(I will update this review further, if the vacuum does not hold up during the swimming season.)

Very disappointed, got the cordless pool Vacuum and the battery won't keep the charge.
