The first time I used this I was amazed because it cut right through the thin layer of ice on my window. When I moved to the windshield it didn't work at all, because there was a very thick layer of ice. I thought it would at least shave some off of it but it really didn't. If I pushed too hard on it, it just stopped spinning. I like that it is rechargeable but since it doesn't work in every situation I probably won't bother bringing it out again. It's also not very easy for me to hold with my small hands.

It does take some time off to get ready to go in the morning. Manual scraping with the defroster on full blast could take 5+ minutes, but with this, it's a little quicker. Easy to use and easy to charge. If you have to park outdoors in the winter, park facing east, kick on the defroster, and give this thing a try. It should make things a little quicker for you!

It's just okay. I think it would have been better if operated by some batteries vs having to charge the battery in it. I took off a star, because for this purpose have to charge another battery. Much easier to add batteries to a unit and store in car.

I received the electric ice scraper but the cleaning brush and buffing pads were not included. This was my 3rd attempt to get the complete order. It was not successful.
