Well made product wood be good for very small projects. That being said tried it out and after about 8ft the measurements were off with lumber how it is and the small free play side to side. Nothing beats a tape.

Not the tightest fit in 2x4 slots. You need to keep pressure on boards for proper alignment.

It's heavy duty, but there is too much clearance with a 2x4 inside. If it doesn't grip the lumber tight to hold it in place, then what is the point of it? I used this on a wall i built, and I still had to hold the lumber straight in the bracket like I would have to without the bracket. Doesn't really serve a purpose

This thing is a lot thicker and heavier than I anticipated. It's 3/16" thick and for being made out of aluminum, it does have some weight to it. This definitely speeds up framing.
