I wanted to like this. I thought it was really nice. Like any bedding it needs to be washed. With just ONE wash, it literally fell apart in two different places!!! I am going to send it back for a refund!

they advertise the fill is 50/50! I'd say it's looks and feels like they forgot the cotton fill!it is a comfortable sleep

I'm not sure exactly how I should rate this product, since the description and images here do not fit the product I ordered. I wanted a mattress protector that fits like a fitted sheet. That is what I received. However, the description here is of a 3" padded mattress topper. While it does have a small amount of padding on top, it is nowhere near 3". In fact, I wouldn't even call it "padding". It is simply enough padding to make it feel soft and comfortable. The material never crinkles or makes noise when you move around. It is waterproof, so perfect for small children, or if you have pets that sleep in your bed with you. Honestly, the feel of the protector is so soft, you could actually lay down directly on it, without putting a sheet over it, if you really wanted to. It's about as soft as a thin blanket, which I was pleasantly surprised about. I have a very thick, pillow top mattress, and this cover easily fit. It is very stretchy, and capable of fitting a regular mattress, or thick pillow tops, like mine. I have already put it to the test, since I have a 17 year old furbaby that does have accidents from time to time. It effectively protected my mattress from any stain or wetness. I was able to throw it in my washing machine and put it back on my mattress. I'm not sure how many washes it would hold up to, but I believe it should last a while. Still, this is something I think you should expect to need to replace fairly frequently, mostly if stains on it will bother you. While it does come clean, it does leave a bit of a stain in the soiled area. Still, I am very happy with it, and would order again. I would recommend this protector to anyone that needs one.

Well make, good material. Gave you the hugging feeling, makes me sleep better. In the wintertime, put it on top of a warm blanket is warm enough.
