In my backyard I have brick and windows, that did not help me to hang my blink camera till now. I was able to attach the holder to my bedroom window and place a camera in the holder. Everything holds strong and secure. my reason for 4 stars and not 5 is that after I place the camera into the hold and came back a few hours later it had rotated. I had my camera off center and the weight shifted the camera in the hold so that my image was no longer the complete picture that I started with. I was an easy fix, I put a small piece of the Amazon package in between the camera and holder. I think if it wasn't for the angle that I have my camera it would work great. Will see when I mount the next one as I have one more camera to put up for now. would like to see the space in the holder to fit closer to the mount on the camera.yes if I get more cameras I will still get more of these mount as the price is good and material feels solid. I can work with the rest.
