If for some reason you’ve lost your Google camera mounts or you bought used ones like I did these work. The tolerance isn’t as good so the mount doesn’t fit as tight, but it still fits very well. It’s also very easy to install just like the original ones are.

Wish I’d seen that they’re plastic (it’s in the listing but I missed it). They feel cheap like they won’t last more than a month outdoors.

The product is made from plastic and does not meet the oem specs. Does not lock in place so when trying to confirm the bracket is attached is a guess. Would not buy again

This is made of plastic. I needed a replacement for mine because our house painters through the original mount in the trash without telling me. I was skeptical due to some reviews, but this worked perfectly. Even though it is made of plastic it still holds its shape and isn't flimsy. Just make sure to get some screws and anchors and you are good to go.

Methinks it a duty to impart mine observations upon the locking collars at hand, which, in truth, prove but a pale imitation of their illustrious predecessors. Whereas the Nest security cameras exhibit a steadfast constancy, these ersatz collars betray a lamentable fragility and a perilously lax grasp upon the weighty cameras they are meant to secure. Only time's relentless march shall unveil whether they possess the fortitude to endure or succumb to the whims of fate. In sooth, one cannot help but bemoan the unjust cost foisted upon these inferior accoutrements, for their quality fails to justify the lofty price they demand. As one doth examine the quintessential Nest security cameras, a sense of assurance and stability doth envelop the beholder. These paragons of engineering mastery maintain their post with unyielding resolve, unwavering in their duty to protect and surveil. But alas, the same cannot be said of the locking collars that seek to bind them in harmonious union. In their quest for replication, these replicas fall woefully short, their composition, like a fragile reed in a tempest, belies the very essence of reliability they seek to embody.Furthermore, in their appointed role as guardians of the heavy cameras, the locking collars reveal a disconcerting laxity in their grip. As a gust of wind may flit away the petals of a fragile blossom, so too do these collars seem to falter under the weight they bear, their grip but a tenuous semblance of security.Oh, the hands of destiny are laid bare upon the hourglass, and only time shall bear witness to the fate of these collars. Shall they rise like phoenixes from the ashes of doubt, proving their mettle and worth? Or shall they crumble like parchment in the blaze of disappointment, leaving naught but remorse in their wake?In conclusion, one must aver that these locking collars, in their present state, stand as a testament to the perils of replication. A far cry from the steadfast assurance of the originals, they exude a sense of vulnerability and uncertainty that cast shadows upon their claim of guardianship. Withal, let it be known that their inflated price, far beyond their true merit, doth leave a bitter taste upon the tongue of discerning consumers. A cautionary tale, indeed, of discerning between the true artifacts and those that strive but in vain to emulate their splendor.

Nest battery camera mounting base just like the original. Makes it easy to have an alternative location for occasional camera use.
