Serves its purpose, kept my water hose faucets from freezing in 10 degree weather. Easy to install and remove, lays flat for storage.

Here in Mississippi we don’t usually have long hard freezes but most years we do have a day or two pipe busting days. I’ve used those styrofoam covers since i bought my first house fifty years ago. I’ve seen these faucet bags but thrive never tried them. Our new puppy decided to destroy one of the styrofoam ones. This bag is easy to install but the styrofoam ones are easy also. To be honest the bag doesn’t look like it offers the same insulation level but I don’t have any evidence of that. The potential negative is the bag holds water so if the facet drips at all it could fill with water. The definite advantage is the bags are much easier to store over the summer and they aren't nearly as fragile.Do they work in an extended deep freeze? We’ll see.My rating system:5 stars..... Very good, recommended.4 stars..... Better than average.3 stars..... Average, nothing especially good or bad.2 stars..... Less than average, not recommended.1 star ..... Junk, do not buy.

I'm so grateful we got these before the cold vortex hit! The quailty of the covers are really nice and they fit on the faucets with ease. The velcro is super strong and those babies aren't going anywhere. We had a super windy day the day after I put them on and they did great! So far, no frozen plumbing issues!

Faucet covers work great. They are easy on and off and will be sturdy enough to reuse next year. Great price.

I really like these outside faucet covers for two reasons: #1 They are in a black, heat- retaining color.  And, #2 The Velcro fasteners close tightly around half inch pipe, whereas the drawstring fasteners do not. Good product! I definitely recommend.

We have had an unusually cold winter so far here in north Georgia. Many days so far the temperature has not ever gotten over 32 degrees for a full day, which is very odd for where I live. Needless to say, one of the things I have to do when the temperatures are so low is to make sure the outside spigots are wrapped and sealed off from freezing cold air to keep the pipes from freezing and potentially bursting. I used to take a roll of tape and old towels and tape the towels around the spigots. This would work well except that in the extreme cold, the tape would lose its stickiness and eventually the towels would fall off. With these Doufuhua faucet covers, I am able to insulate the spigots and use velcro straps to hold the cover in place. These covers are a great alternative to the taped towels that I have been using for 20 years. If you have outdoor spigots that you have to insulate during brutally cold weather, these faucet covers are a quick, easy, and affordable solution to the issue.3 Pack Outdoor Faucet Covers for Winter Freeze Protection, 8.3" H X 5.4 "W Outside Garden Waterproof Freeze Protector Pipe Insulation, Spigot Insulation Socks Hose Bib Protector Prevent Backflow

These are a heavily padded cover. The size is larger than the others I've bought in the past. This makes it easy to fit over the faucet. The velcro strap allows you to cinch the cover down around the faucet and it holds it tightly next to the house. As I said earlier, these are much thicker than other covers I've bought. They have a bright strap which is easy to see at night. This was an awesome purchase to protect my outdoor faucets.

These outdoor faucet covers are rather thin fortunately, I live in an area that does not experience extreme cold very often. They are rather small, so wrapping the faucet with a towel before putting the cover on is a no go. I think that might be OK with temperatures just below freezing but on the rare occasion that we get to 15° or below, I would not trust them. I think they would work better if you put these on first and then add additional wrapping to the faucet just to be safe.
